Job Summary We are seeking a Cabinet Maker / Woodworker / Bench Carpenter to join Mock Woodworking. An ideal applicant would have previous cabinet building/ cabinet installation / carpentry / or finishing experience. Candidates with experience will have their wages set accordingly. A passion for woodworking and a strong understanding of cabinet construction is very helpful. Mock Woodworking is an award winning millwork company. Founded in 1954, Mock Woodworking collaborates on beautiful and functional woodworking projects for architectural, retail, hospitality, restaurant and other industries.

Key Job Functions and Skills:

Constructing millwork diewalls, cabinets, fixtures, and wood trims and other specialty items. Operating a variety of woodworking equipment drill press, SawStop table saws, hand routers, orbital sanders, and cut off saws. Utilizing blue prints to build. Installing hardware, hinges, pulls, slides, catches.. Properly packing finished cabinets and counter tops for shipment. Applying your mechanical skills, precision and attention to detail to custom-craft cabinetry Applying critical thinking / problem-solving skills to efficiently and accurately shape and assemble components from information contained in the shop drawings. Reading and understanding blueprints and schematics. Regularly using a tape measure.

Experience :

Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry. Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques and best practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
