We design, build, and install custom cabinets, built-ins and furniture for residential projects throughout the Portland metro area. We are looking for a dependable and motivated team member to join our shop. Experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, finish carpentry, or construction is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn. This position involves both shop work and field installation. One day you may be building cabinets in the shop, and the next day you may be installing them at a customer's home. Responsibilities Build and assemble custom cabinets, drawers, doors, shelving, and other woodworking projects. Read and follow shop drawings, plans, measurements, and work instructions. Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, sand, drill, assemble, and prepare materials for production. Install cabinet hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, pulls, and accessories. Load and unload materials, cabinetry, and tools. Deliver and install cabinetry, millwork, and built-ins at residential and commercial job sites. Perform cabinet installation, including leveling, fastening, scribing, and final adjustments. Maintain quality standards throughout fabrication and installation. Keep the shop, vehicles, and job sites clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures. Work effectively with team members, contractors, and customers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, finish carpentry, remodeling, construction, manufacturing, or a related trade is preferred. Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Basic math and measurement skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and reliable attendance. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position.
