$25.00 - $34.00 per hour

We are a custom cabinetry shop dedicated to producing high-quality, handcrafted cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. Our team values precision, craftsmanship, professionalism, and collaboration. We are looking for an experienced cabinet finisher who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a flawless final product.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher with 5+ years of hands-on experience in a professional shop environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with a wide range of wood species and finish systems, including both painted and stained cabinetry. This role requires a strong eye for detail, consistency, and a commitment to high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Prepare cabinetry and millwork for finishing, including sanding, filling, and surface prep Apply a variety of finishes, including stains, paints, clears, and protective coatings Work with multiple wood species. Execute consistent, high-quality painted finishes using spray equipment Match stains and finishes to samples and design specifications Operate finishing equipment safely and efficiently Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot and correct finish-related issues as they arise Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area. Collaborate with cabinet makers and production staff to meet project timelines Follow all company safety procedures and professional standards. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a cabinet or furniture finisher in a professional shop Strong knowledge of wood characteristics and how they affect finishing Proven experience with both stained and painted finishes Ability to color match stains and paints accurately High attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high-quality work Experience with spray equipment and finishing materials Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills Ability to lift and move cabinetry components as required Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support production goals Why Join Us?
