Job Description

hiring a dependable helper to assist with cabinet, millwork, and built-in finishing projects. This is a hands-on position involving shop work and occasional work at customers' homes and job sites.
Responsibilities:
Sand cabinet doors, drawer fronts, frames, trim, and millwork Prepare wood, MDF, and previously finished surfaces for coatings Fill nail holes, minor imperfections, and seams Mask and protect work areas Clean parts before primer and topcoat application Load, unload, label, and organize cabinet components Maintain a clean and organized sanding and finishing area Assist with job-site setup, breakdown, and material transportation Follow established preparation and quality-control procedures
Qualifications:
Cabinet, woodworking, painting, or automotive-body preparation experience is preferred Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Strong attention to detail is essential Must be comfortable using orbital sanders, sanding blocks, vacuums, and basic hand tools Able to lift and carry cabinet doors, equipment, and materials Must follow safety requirements and wear proper respiratory and hearing protection Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred No smoking or drug use during working hours This is not a basic house-painting position. Proper surface preparation directly affects the quality of the finished product. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, consistent work and wants to learn professional cabinet-finishing techniques.
