Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Custom Furniture /Cabinet Maker to join our team. As such, you will be responsible for constructing and installing cabinets, furniture, and other architectural wooden structures according to specifications. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will contribute to the overall quality and aesthetic appeal of our products.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (such as wood, plastic, or fiberglass) to construct cabinets and furniture
  • Install cabinets and furniture in designated areas, ensuring proper fit and alignment
  • Sand surfaces and apply finishes such as varnish or paint to enhance the appearance of the final product
  • Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture components as needed
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and other team members to ensure project success
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
  • Proficiency in cabinet making techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials
  • Knowledge of various tools and equipment used in cabinet making such as saws, drills, routers, and sanders
  • Trim Carpentry experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during construction or installation
  • Familiarity with different types of wood and their characteristics
  • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems for cabinet installations
  • Experience with CNC machines for precision cutting is a plus
