Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the installation of a wide range of building components, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As a Lead Installer, you will coordinate with project managers, supervise installation crews, and utilize your extensive technical expertise to deliver exceptional results on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, drive quality craftsmanship, and contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. This position varys from handyman to whole scale remodels. Someone who knows a little bit of everything. Someone who can be trusted to leave on jobs and shows integrity in their character and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise installation teams across multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively on job sites. Coordinate with project managers and construction management teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control standards are met throughout each phase of installation. Manage onsite safety protocols, enforce OSHA regulations, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Perform detailed construction estimating and blueprint reading to support project planning and resource allocation. Oversee concrete forming, masonry work, drywall installation (including plastering), stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, glass and fixture installation, as well as restoration and remodeling tasks. Ensure all work complies with schematics, specifications, building codes, and client expectations. Skills Extensive experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation in a construction setting. Proficiency in Bluebeam software for digital plan review and markup. Strong background in construction management principles and estimating techniques. Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes to maintain quality standards. Skilled in various trades including carpentry (frame, trim carpentry), roofing, masonry (concrete finishing), plumbing, electrical systems, drywall (plastering), welding, tile laying, flooring installation, glass installation, fixture mounting & restoration work. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment (such as forklifts or cranes), and fabrication machinery safely. Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and masonry work for durable structures. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings accurately. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
