The Cabinet Maker / CNC Operator is responsible for the accurate and efficient manufacturing, machining, and assembly of fine European-style custom cabinetry. This role ensures high-quality production standards are met by safely operating CNC machinery, executing precise assembly techniques, and maintaining digital workflows within the Innergy ERP application. The Cabinet Maker plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, organized, and lean manufacturing environment while contributing to the continuous and steady workflow of the production floor. Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and assemble cabinetry and wood components according to detailed construction plans and technical drawings. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers. Measure and mark materials precisely to meet project specifications. Assemble cabinets, fixtures, doors, siding, and other woodwork components with attention to detail. Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently on construction sites or in workshop environments. Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during operation Assist with installation tasks such as fixture hanging, door hanging, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation. Support restoration projects involving stucco, rebar installation, mold remediation, or remodeling as needed. Maintain a clean workspace; perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in cabinet making, carpentry, or woodworking within residential or commercial settings. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders; familiarity with hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Construction site experience including framing, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, siding installation, and fixture installation. Knowledge of construction plans related to cabinetry or remodeling projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of handling large materials. Experience with tile laying or rebar installation is a plus. Familiarity with the use of power tool safety standards and procedures. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Valid experience in the restoration industry or handyman work is advantageous. Valid DL w/ own transportation, acceptable driving record. Pass a drug screen and background check.
Pay rate:
$25 to $30 an hour, based on experience and interview.
