Signage & Large Format Printing About the Role We are an established sign company in Austin, TX seeking an experienced Vinyl Installer & Production Professional to work as a part-time contractor . This role is ideal for a skilled, self-motivated professional who is comfortable handling both production (we can provide training) and installation work and is looking for flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities Vinyl installation / application to vehicles (full wrap / partial wrap / decals), wood panels (MDO boards), metal sheet (ACM aluminum / steel etc), walls, windows Produce, prep, and install vinyl graphics and signage with strong attention to detail Work with a variety of signage materials, including: Metal, MDO, Acrylic and plastics, Coroplast, Foam board and similar substrates Perform in-shop and on-site sign installations Use power tools safely for installation and basic fabrication tasks Build skids and supports for construction and temporary signage Operate cutting tools such as panel saws, lateral saws, and hand cutting tools Laminate prints using a roll laminator Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep of: Commercial printers, Plotters, Laminators, Other production and shop tools Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a vinyl installer or sign production professional Knowledge of signage-related materials, types, and brands Ability to apply vinyl cleanly on flat and contoured surfaces Experience working with common sign substrates Basic handyman and fabrication skills Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Preferred Qualifications Experience with large-format printing workflows Familiarity with construction signage and temporary sign systems Tint application to glass windows / doors Valid driver's license (for occasional on-site installations) Compensation & Work Arrangement $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience Part-time contractor role Flexible hours based on workload and availability
