This is a high-precision role where "good enough" is never the standard. As the Measurement Expert , you are the primary safeguard for our profit margins and client satisfaction. You will lead a 5-man crew to execute full kitchen and whole-house flooring installs within a 4-day "Transformation Sprint." Key Responsibilities1. The Measurement Authority Perform the final technical "check-measure" for all cabinetry layouts before installation begins. Account for appliance clearances, plumbing offsets, and electrical outlet placements with 1/16" precision . Assess and document subfloor deviations using laser levels and straightedges to trigger our specialized leveling protocols. 2. Crew Leadership & Quality Control Direct a 5-man crew (including skilled installers and apprentices) to meet strict 4-day project timelines. Act as the final "QC" (Quality Control) sign-off for cabinet leveling, scribing, crown molding, and floor transitions. Train junior crew members on "The Company Way"—ensuring consistent, repeatable results across every job site. 3. Advanced Installation Lead the installation of semi-custom cabinetry, including complex fillers, integrated panels, and custom trim work. Supervise whole-house LVP/Laminate layout to ensure optimal plank distribution and seamless transitions between rooms. Execute high-precision hardware installation (pulls/knobs) using jigs to ensure perfect alignment.
Required Qualifications Mastery of Cabinetry:
At least 5-7 years of experience in residential cabinetry installation (Semi-custom or Custom).
Flooring Expertise:
Deep understanding of subfloor preparation, moisture barriers, and click-lock flooring systems (LVP/Laminate).
Leadership:
Proven experience managing a crew of 3 or more workers on a job site.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using digital measurement tools and project-tracking apps. The "Eye": An obsessive attention to detail, specifically regarding level, plumb, and square.
Work Schedule & Compensation Project-Based:
This is a W-2 position tailored for project sprints. Work is typically scheduled in 4-day blocks (approx. 20 days per month).
Direct Deposit:
Weekly pay based on project hours.
