Duties Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute woodworking projects. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components. Install cabinets, doors, trim, siding, flooring, fixtures, drywall, stucco, and other wood construction materials on residential and commercial sites. Conduct heavy lifting tasks, rebar installation support, plastering, caulking, mold remediation assistance, and water damage restoration as needed. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure precise fabrication and installation according to construction plans. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and industry safety standards. Assist with remodeling projects by fabricating custom components and restoring existing structures with craftsmanship excellence. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, woodworking, or related fields within the restoration or remodeling industry. Hands-on experience with residential carpentry including trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, framing (metal stud framing included), and flooring installation. Familiarity with construction site procedures such as heavy lifting, rebar installation support, drywall installation & finishing, siding application, stucco work, caulking techniques, and mold remediation processes. Skilled in operating woodworking machinery along with hand tools and power tools for woodworking projects while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards. Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings for fabrication purposes; experience working on construction plans for various project scopes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on water damage restoration or renovation projects. Additional skills such as handyman experience or metal stud framing are considered valuable assets for versatile project support.
