Job Summary:
Were seeking an experienced Aircraft Cabinetmaker to join our team, responsible for fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using aircraft specifications and design/engineering drawings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints and specifications Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells, and install hardware and surface materials Use various power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture Comply with safety policies and use personal protective equipment Use material tracking system to create parts demand and track work
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking Aviation experience required Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred Experience in aerospace industry preferred
Skills:
Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Computer literacy required Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small areas, and lift up to 40 pounds Uniform Policy
Uniform Requirements:
Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).
Interim Attire:
Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.
