Overview Small, custom cabinet shop seeking a well-rounded, experienced shop carpenter for custom and specialty items. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality custom projects, from intricate drawer inserts to large custom hoods. Responsibilities Read and interpret plans and technical drawings to accurately execute custom cabinetry projects. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, widebelt sander, etc. Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood components according to specifications. Ensure all work complies with shop standards and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements Proven experience in custom cabinet cabinetry Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Ability to read plans and technical drawings; ability to interpret technical specifications confidently. High attention to detail and desire to produce quality. Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while adhering to power tool safety guidelines. Skilled in various aspects of cabinetry and finishing is beneficial, but nor required. Ability to lift 75+ lbs on a regular basis Reliable transportation to get to work on time every day.
