In this role, you will craft high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry, transforming detailed construction plans and technical drawings into beautifully finished pieces. Your expertise in woodworking, carpentry, and restoration will ensure each project meets our exacting standards of craftsmanship and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke projects, utilizing your skills in both residential and commercial settings, while contributing to the creation of functional art that enhances living and working spaces. Duties Interpret cabinet plans and technical drawings to accurately produce custom furniture and cabinetry. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to shape wood and other materials. Measure, cut, assemble, sand, finish, and install furniture components with precision.. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines on construction sites. Experience Proven experience in woodworking. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders, planers, routers, and other woodworking machines. Strong knowledge of construction site procedures including safety protocols for power tools and heavy lifting activities. Familiarity with various woodworking materials like hardwoods, softwoods, plywoods, MDF, and composite materials used in fine furniture making. Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for custom projects or restoration work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex assembly or finishing tasks.
