Cabinet Maker / Home Improvement Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker / Home Improvement Specialist to join our family-owned company. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting custom cabinetry, installing fixtures, and executing various home improvement projects with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help transform living spaces, ensuring quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, using your carpentry skills and construction knowledge to deliver outstanding results. Own work truck or van preferred and vehicle allowance will be paid in addition to hourly pay. Must be available to start immediately. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets Perform trim carpentry, door hanging, siding installation,as needed for renovation projects Utilize hand and power tools. Execute restoration tasks including water damage repairs, drywall repairs and installation and interior painting Install flooring, tile laying, roofing components, fixtures, and perform construction painting for finished surfaces. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, custom cabinet building, carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), cabinet installation, and fixture hanging. Familiarity with a wide range of tools. Background in remodeling projects such as flooring installation, tile installation, drywall and painting Experience in light plumbing and electrical service big plus Excellent customer and ommunication skills.
