About Us Cade Construction is a growing exterior contractor serving home and property owners throughout central Virginia, specializing in roofing, siding, and gutters. We're looking for a Gutter Consultant who takes pride in both educating customers and doing the work right. About the Role This is a hybrid sales-and-install position. You'll meet with homeowners to assess their gutter needs, build and present proposals, close the sale, and then get on the ladder yourself to install the job to a high standard. If you like being in front of customers as much as you like being hands-on with tools, this role is built for you. What You'll Do Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to evaluate gutter and drainage needs Build accurate measurements and estimates, and present clear, professional proposals Close sales and answer customer questions about materials, options, and pricing Install seamless gutters, gutter guards, and downspouts to company quality standards Use CRM and project management software to track leads, document jobs with photos, and keep customer records up to date Communicate proactively with customers and the office throughout the sales and install process Represent Cade Construction professionally on every job site What We're Looking For Strong communication skills — comfortable talking with homeowners and confidently guiding a sales conversation Comfortable with technology — able to use a smartphone/tablet for CRM entry, photo documentation, and digital proposals Pride in craftsmanship — you want the finished job to look as good as the sales pitch sounded Prior experience in gutters, roofing, siding, or general construction preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for installs) Ability to work at heights and lift ladders/materials What We Offer Commission-based earning potential in addition to install pay Steady stream of opportunities — no cold calling required but we do encourage you to get our name out when an opportunity presents itself Room to grow with a company investing in modern sales and operations tools Supportive team environment Top of the line equipment provided to complete your work
