Athletic & Casework Installer - Washington H2I Group, Inc - 3.9 Bothell, WA Job Details Full-time $38 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Phone communication Outdoor work experience Employee relationship building Ladder use Bucket operation Driver's License Millwork Lifts and hoists Manual assembly Wood construction materials Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Our Installers are responsible for unloading, building, installing & repairing structures, fixtures, and other athletic equipment items using different types of materials including steel, aluminum, cabling, electric motors, wood, and miscellaneous parts to fulfill a complete installation.
Essential Job Functions:
Available and willing to travel to job sites for extended periods of time. Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic. Possess a strong attention to detail and high accuracy. Knowledge of tools and basic operating use. Follow established safety rules and regulations including PPE and OSHA standards. Unloading trucks. Inspect and prepare work areas for material distribution and installation. Ability to follow supervisor's instructions. Organized and capable of meeting deadlines as an individual or as a team. Positively represent the company. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Practical work experience to this position or similar trade. Experience preferred with installation of equipment/athletic equipment in a project environment. Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. Assembly and installation of commercial millwork and metal products including casework, countertops, wall panels, accessories, wood & sports court flooring; gym equipment and hardware of various materials Knowledge of Division 10 specialties such as wall protection, toilet room accessories, fire extinguisher cabinets and toilet partitions. Assembly and installation of various commercial Athletic equipment such as: Telescoping bleachers Fixed aluminum bleachers Basketball backstops/structures Volleyball equipment (ceiling and floor mounted) Divider curtains & netting Scoreboards Athletic accessories Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment. Ability to communicate well with project manager and supervisors. Verbal and written communication. Foster positive teamwork relationships with fellow employee owners.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, and speak to use the telephone and to communicate with individuals both inside and outside the organization. Effectively communicate and follow oral and written instructions, and possess arm, hand, and finger dexterity to use when reaching, handling, grasping, or using a keyboard. The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand. Ability to work outdoors, indoor in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places and in excavated areas. Must be able to climb a ladder, scaffolding and stairs. Must be able to operate and use aerial lifts, such as scissor lifts & boom lifts. Working at heights of 15+ feet. Must be able to kneel, stoop and squat often. Ability to swing a hammer. Arm, hang & finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching. Ability to use hand and power tools. May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching, and near cranes and moving equipment. Will work in close contact with other people. Ability to lift 100lbs. Stand or walk for 8+ hours. Must have ability to lift both arms overhead.
