Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cabinet Builder role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a respected custom woodworking and cabinetry manufacturer known for craftsmanship, precision, and delivering high-quality products. With a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, they take pride in creating custom cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and assemble custom cabinets, drawers, and related components according to blueprints, specifications, and production schedules. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently, including saws, routers, sanders, drills, and other cabinet-making equipment. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and composite materials with a high degree of accuracy. Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and other cabinet components to ensure proper fit and function. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure project requirements are met. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment and report any issues to supervisors. Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and loading/unloading as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cabinet building, woodworking, carpentry, or related manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
