Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Installer - Pre-installer, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will bring custom cabinetry projects to life! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for preparing cabinetry for the installation team and/or be a part of the Installation Team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with skilled tradespeople, and develop your expertise in woodworking, fabrication, and installation techniques. Duties Pre-install cabinetry and get ready for installers to take to job site. Includes installing hinges, drawer slides, cabinet interior aids, and quality control. May also include measure, cut, assemble, and prepare cabinetry components using hand tools and power tools to ensure accurate fit and finish Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation plans precisely Collaborate with Install manager and shop manager to determine schedule of the pre-install department. Become an Installer and install cabinetry in residential and commercial job sites to bring projects to fruition. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting large cabinetry pieces or materials on-site Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly throughout the project Experience Proven experience in cabinet making, pre-installation work, cabinet installation or trim carpentry within the construction or restoration industry Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), and CNC machinery for fabrication tasks Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution Installation skills using scribing methods for fitting cabinets and molding to walls, floors and ceiling and installing cabinetry plumb and level.
