Job:

We are looking to hire a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including Building Cabinet components, sanding, finishing, cutting lumber, assembly of cabinets. Other duties will include assisting the shop as needed. A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, have a great attitude and have good communication and organizational skills. It is helpful but not necessary to have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have equivalent experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret floorplans, cabinet drawings and CAD drawings. Building of cabinets, moldings, hardware doors, and other tasks as required. Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials. Ability to operate woodworking tools, machines, and other equipment. Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements:

High school diploma. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 1 year experience is helpful. Additional certification may be required. Good communication skills. Good time management skills. Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination. Knowledge of mathematics. Good Team player
