Job:
JG Custom Cabinetry is seeking two detail-oriented production team members to sand and prepare cabinet components for finishing and assembly. This role helps ensure doors, drawer fronts, face frames, and other cabinet parts meet shop quality standards before moving to the next production stage. What you'll do: Sand cabinet doors, drawer fronts, face frames, and other cabinet components to shop quality standards. Inspect parts for rough edges, scratches, glue residue, uneven profiles, and other defects. Organize, label, and prepare parts for the next production step. Follow work orders and shop instructions accurately. Use assigned sanding equipment, abrasives, and hand tools safely. Maintain a clean work area and follow dust-control and safety procedures. Communicate quality concerns, defects, and rework needs. Help maintain steady production flow and assist with related shop tasks as assigned. What we're looking for: Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Willingness to learn and safely use sanding equipment and tools. Ability to follow written and verbal shop instructions. Cabinetry, millwork, furniture, wood-finishing, or production-sanding experience is preferred.
