Position Summary The Steel Stud Framer / Carpenter at Suburban Drywall is responsible for constructing the structural framework of commercial and residential buildings. This role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling metal to build walls. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings Measure, cut, and install steel studs Informs the foreman of any immediate discrepancies for framing or sheathing Follows and listens to specific interior and exterior framing instructions Asks necessary questions about the scope of work performed Pays attention to specific details for the scope of work Works safely around others Follows all safety guidelines from Suburban, OSHA, and general contractor specifications Reports any project or health hazards to the foreman Qualifications Basic power tool knowledge Math skills Detail-oriented
