This is a hands-on manufacturing role supporting the production of glass-fiber composite materials used in infrastructure repair and strengthening systems. You'll work as part of a two-person production team operating specialized equipment, monitoring material quality, and helping ensure products are manufactured safely and consistently. What You'll Do Prepare glass-fiber materials, resin systems, production cores, and other materials for production Set up, operate, and monitor specialized manufacturing equipment Monitor material quality, machine performance, resin application, and finished products Inspect materials for defects or other quality concerns and make adjustments when needed Complete production records and accurately document output, downtime, rejected materials, and equipment issues Perform routine equipment adjustments and basic mechanical troubleshooting Assist with cutting, staging, and inventory of production materials as needed Maintain clean and organized equipment, tools, and production areas Safely handle resins, chemicals, and production materials while following required safety procedures and PPE requirements Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Polymer, and Fabric team members Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, production, and equipment reliability What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Dependable attendance and reliability Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized manufacturing equipment Ability to follow written instructions and standardized processes Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize quality or equipment issues Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and industrial materials Preferred Experience Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, or production environments is preferred but not required. Experience with composites, glass fiber, resins, coatings, adhesives, roll-to-roll equipment, or basic mechanical troubleshooting is a plus. Technical education in manufacturing, mechatronics, composites, mechanical technology, or a related field is also a plus, but hands-on experience and demonstrated ability are valued over formal education. Physical & Work Environment This is an active, hands-on production position. Employees must be able to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, bend, reach, push and pull materials, and safely lift and move production materials within established lifting requirements. The position involves working around manufacturing equipment, glass-fiber materials, resins, and associated odors while wearing required personal protective equipment.
