  • $20 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Field service In-person customer service Company vehicle operation Driver's License Locksmithing Full Job Description The Battery Technician is responsible for providing safe, professional, and efficient roadside assistance.
This positions primarily involves responding to dispatched service calls to test vehicle batteries and provide battery replacement when appropriate. Technicians do not preform battery repairs but will accurately assess battery condition and recommend the appropriate solution based on the test result and member coverage. In addition to battery services, technicians will provide roadside assistance including lockout services, tire changes and fuel delivery while delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to dispatched roadside assistance calls.
  • Preform professional battery diagnostic equipment.
  • Replace vehicle batteries when testing confirms replacement is needed and the members coverage allows.
  • Explain battery test results and available services options to customers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all service vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain professional appearance and represent the company in a courteous and respectful manner. Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry automotive batteries and equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred; automotive experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles and roadside service equipment.
Work Environment This position requires working independently in the field often in high traffic roadside environments. Technicians must exercise sound judgment, prioritizing safety, and provide excellent service while representing both the company and
AAA. HOURLY+ ELIGABLE FOR COMMISION
