•Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrolytic Nickel Line Operator/Chemical Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrolytic nickel production process, ensuring that all operations comply with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical processes and possess the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate plating equipment to deposit metallic coatings such as copper, nickel, and gold onto circuit boards according to specifications and production schedules. Monitor plating baths, solution levels, temperatures, and current densities to ensure proper deposition rates and adherence to quality standards. Conduct visual inspections and perform quality control tests on plated circuit boards to verify coating thickness, adhesion, and surface finish, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product integrity. Perform routine maintenance on plating equipment, including cleaning tanks and replacing solution filters. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Maintain accurate records of plating parameters, process conditions, and quality inspection results. Complete production logs and other documentation as required by regulatory standards. Coordinate with production supervisor to address process issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize plating processes for improved efficiency and product quality. Ensure on time delivery and quality standards are accomplished. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and operating specialized equipment. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency and quality Qualifications Previous experience as a plating operator or in a similar role preferred. Familiarity with plating equipment, including rectifiers, tanks, pumps, and filtration systems. Ability to read and interpret customer specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials. Demonstrates safety compliance by adhering to all ISO and OSHA safety policies including reporting all safety incidents and notifying leadership of any unsafe working condition.
