In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining solar battery systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties Install, commission, and service photovoltaic (solar) battery systems on residential, commercial, and onshore renewable energy sites Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise system setup Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues with high voltage and low voltage systems efficiently Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment safely during installation and maintenance tasks Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) electrical safety procedures and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to maintain compliance Perform roof inspections and coordinate with roofing teams during photovoltaic system installation on various structures Test electrical systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify proper operation and troubleshoot faults Adhere to all safety protocols related to outdoor work environments, including working at heights and in varying weather conditions Assist in reading electrical blueprints and schematics for complex photovoltaic system layouts Ensure all fixture installations meet quality standards while maintaining construction site safety protocols Experience Proven experience working as a solar technician or in electrical work related to photovoltaic systems, preferably with commercial electrician background Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems within renewable energy projects Familiarity with NEC code requirements, NFPA 70 compliance standards, and electrical blueprint reading skills Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and using multimeters such as voltmeters Construction site experience including roofing, outdoor work environments, and working at heights using ladders safely Ability to operate power tools efficiently while maintaining safety standards in outdoor or construction settings Prior experience with photovoltaic system installation or maintenance is highly desirable Knowledge of electrical safety procedures specific to onshore renewable energy projects is essential Join us in shaping a sustainable future!
