Full Job Description Job Summary:
The DES Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Develop-Etch-Strip (DES) Process equipment used in printed circuit board manufacturing. This role ensures that photo-imaged panels are developed, etched, and stripped according to production specifications, maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency.Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, monitor, and operate the DES lines according to established process parameters and work instructions. Check chemical concentrations, temperatures, and conveyer speeds; make any necessary adjustments to maintain process stability and meet qualification requirements. Inspect panels before and after DES processing to verify etch quality, line definition, and cleanliness. Identify and report any defects or process deviations. Safely handle mix and replenish chemicals used in the DES process, following proper safety and environmental protocols (MSDS, PPE, Spill Procedures). Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on DES machinery; report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Record process data, lot numbers, and inspection results accurately in production logs or tracking system Adhere to company policies, quality management systems, and safety/environmental regulations.Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing process Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures Previous experience in a manufacturing or DES environmentPhysical Requirements:
