JOB SUMMARY
The Semiconductor Process Technician supports the imaging Semiconductors line CMOS processing, packaging and testing functions. This individual contributor position reports to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In this role, you will: Serve as a full-time production technician for semiconductor processing, packaging, and testing of CMOS devices. Processes will include many of the following: Operation and familiarity of various deposition systems (CVD, E-beam, and sputtering). Operation of process equipment (wet and dry etch) including inspection and metrology. Execution of lithographic process including operation of lithography equipment and inspection. Experience with vacuum furnace operation. Handling, microscope inspection and probe testing of CMOS dies. Device packaging and wire bonding. WIP tracking using MES system and/or traveler Support engineering tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting, calibration, adjustment and maintenance of various semiconductor processing tools. Support cross-training initiatives within organization. Support verification and improvement of production work instructions and procedures. All other duties, as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Overtime work may be required, as assigned. Extended working hours may be necessary to achieve business objectives. This is an on-site position in Santa Clara, CA. Remote work is not possible for this role. Our office has a 9/80 work schedule, Monday through Friday. With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively, in addition to other demands. Extended periods of working at a computer at a desk, as needed. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in a related technology. 3 years of semiconductor processing experience is required. Strong attention to detail, including demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all work assignments. Strong work ethic and self-discipline. Meticulous and quality focused. Able to work in a cleanroom environment. Proficiency in safely working with hazardous chemicals. Skilled at accurate record keeping. Able to comprehend and follow written instructions. Effective communicator and team player. Strong attention to detail, including demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all work assignments. Basic knowledge of computers and prior experience with Microsoft Office required.
EDUCATION
Associates degree in related technology.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 3
years of semiconductor processing experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Vacuum processing experience is highly preferred. Experience in semiconductor device testing is desired.
BACKGROUND PREREQUISITES
Must complete and meet company standards for background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks. US citizenship or permanent resident status is required for this ITAR facility.
