River Point Surgery Center is seeking candidates to join our motivated and dynamic team in our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. Monday - Thursday, Full-Time! The main duties of this position are: Cleans, inspects, assembles, and sterilizes surgical instruments according to manufacturer instructions and facility policies. Maintains a clean and organized sterile processing department. Operates sterilizers, ultrasonic washers, and other processing equipment. Performs biological and chemical monitoring tests and maintains sterilization records. Inspects instruments for cleanliness, damage, and proper functioning. Wraps, labels, and stores sterile supplies and instrument trays. Maintains inventory levels and assists with supply management. Conducts routine inspections of sterile items and replaces outdated or compromised supplies.

Requirements for the position include:

High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of sterile technique and instrument sterilization processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sterile Processing experience preferred. Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
