Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and team excellence while supporting Kazmira's mission to expand access to cannabinoid-based products. Produce product from pre-extraction to final raw finished pharmaceutical grade CBD API as determined by Management. Plan and prioritize production operations with the production team to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Run production unit operations.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and operate specialized manufacturing equipment to maintain seamless production workflows.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards including

ISO 9001, 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR

211 and 29 CFR 1911 within Data Ninja and other electronic quality management systems.

• Oversee and manage documentation processes across integrated systems such as EQMS, LIMS, MES, and project management tools ensuring accuracy in electronic batch production records.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities, maintaining adherence to quality standards.
• Validation of equipment through

IQ/OQ/PQ

processes to meet performance and compliance requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to uphold environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Run production unit operations: extraction, distillation, separation systems.
• Evaluate chromatography operations and make decisions as necessary to produce material.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts around productivity, yield, engagement, safety, and quality for improving extraction, distillation, and chromatography efficiencies.
• As needed: implement new operating procedures, recommend, and implement equipment changes.
• Maintain involvement and influence in the development and implementation of products, process, and material changes.
• Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure proper Batch Production Record completion and cGMP production operation compliance.
• Ensure safety guidelines are understood and followed, incidents properly reported, deficiencies appropriately addresses, and emergencies handled correctly under our internal

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed.
• Must be willing and able to take on broader assignments for development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Education /

Experince:

• Associates degree with three years or more production/ manufacturing experience in lieu of a bachelor's drgree.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including on concrete manufacturing floors.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions with operating, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining production equipment.
• Ability to climb stairs , and, as required for assigned operations, safely use ladders or platforms to access manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up yo 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently, including raw materials, containers, equipment components, hoses and production supplies.
• Ability to safely push, pull or maneuver drums, carts, and other material-handling equipment using appropriate mechanical assistance where required, including with the use of industrial forklifts and pallet jacks in C1D2 environment.
• Sufficient manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate valves, controls, pumps, fittings, clamps, tools, computers, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform work requiring repetitive use of hands and arms, including equipment operation, assembly/disassembly, cleaning, sampling, and documentation.
• Ability to visually inspect equipment, materials, process conditions, labels, and finished products and to read electronic and written production records.
• Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to assigned operations and facility requirements.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where there may be exposure to equipment noise, process odors, temperature variations, wet surfaces, moving equipment, and chemicals used in manufacturing and sanitation processes.
• Ability to work around process equipment used for extraction, distillation, separation, and chromatography operations while complying with applicable safety procedures and established SOPs.
• Ability to respond appropriately to alarms, equipment conditions, spills, and other production or safety situations requiring timely action.
• Ability to perform production activities for the duration of the assigned shift and work overtime or modified schedules when required by production needs.
• Ability to use high powered pressure washer.

Work Environment This position is primarily performed in an active pharmaceutical/API Manufacturing environment and requires adherence to applicable cGMP, environmental, health, safety, and facility requirements. Employees may be required to work in controlled production areas and to follow gowning, hygiene, PPE, material-handling, and contamination- control procedures. The Production Operator may work in proximity to solvents, chemicals, pressurized systems, heated equipment, pumps, rotating or moving equipment, and other industrial processing systems. Appropriate engineering controls, PPE, SOPs, and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
