Job Summary:
The Install Technician I is responsible for proficiently installing insulation materials in various structures while ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
Essential Functions:

Installation of insulation materials:
Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications. Install insulation materials, such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose, in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics. Seal insulation in place using staples, adhesive, or other securing methods to ensure proper coverage and effectiveness. Install roof vents in attic spaces to ensure proper ventilation and optimize insulation performance.
Safety Compliance and Maintenance:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling insulation materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and facilitate efficient workflow. Perform routine maintenance on insulation equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with various insulation materials, tools, and techniques. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment. Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Warehouse Environment:
This position is based in a warehouse, which serves as a base for many of our operations and includes equipment and material storage areas.
Customer settings:
This position is based in customer settings and will require work in and out of doors, including in attics, basements, small-confined spaces, and rooftops.
Physical Demands:
This job requires travel in a company-provided vehicle. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces. The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds, and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, and move up and down stairs safely.
