Lead Fertigation Technician Pay:
23.00•25.75/hr

7:30am•4:00pm Fertigation Lead will ensure all irrigation and nutrient feeding requirements are followed accordingly. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. Operates power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and related components, including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc. Implementing the plan provided by the Cultivation Manager and coordinating with the cultivation team is critical to the success of the production. Guiding Principles Attention to detail Proactive vs. Reactive behavior Communicate with team members and follow directives from Cultivation Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintainstrategy for crop irrigation and feeding schedules Work closely with the growing team to ensure irrigation plan is appropriately implemented and maintained Maintaininventory of all chemicals and fertilizers on site Ensure fertilizer concentrate tanks are filled adequately Respond to system alarms and diagnose/troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively Take measurements, record data, and observations Performs regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments Monitor soil moisture content of the crop, and obtain water samples for testing Able to work variable shifts to meet business requirements Maintainand operate the fertigation system Inspect flower rooms daily to ensure that plantsareproperly fed. Identify wilting or overwatered plants Monitor runoff and catch system to ensure proper PH/EC of feed to rooms. OnFridays (Ensure Stock Tanks & Acidtanks are full and ready for the weekend) Clean filters in every fertigationstation(every other week) Power wash and clean mixtanks (once per month) Interact with all required state regulators in a professional manner Other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred One to two years' experience processing cannabis in a regulated facility preferred Previousexperience in a licensed cannabis production facility preferred Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
