Job Description
Primary Purpose Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment. A Water Operator Lvl B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 - 2 endorsements. Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed and Filtration. Will have 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision. Sunday-Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm Major Duties & Responsibilities Operation of the water treatment system. Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping. Maintenance of water equipment and wells. Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters. Performs process control lab work. Qualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Active Water Operator license with 1 - 2 endorsements. 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
