Company Overview Incertec is a thriving, specialty plating company dedicated to serving aerospace, medical, and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions with a focus on innovation and excellence. Position Overview We are seeking a Chemical Process Treatment Technician to ensure the safe and proper handling of the byproducts of the metal plating production process. •This position will start in our Titusville, FL plant. However, our business will relocate to Edgewater, FL within the next few months. Applicants must be able to make this transition.•
Hours:
7:00 am- 3:30 pm, M-F The ideal Chemical Process Treatment Technician candidate: Can plan and communicate openly and effectively with management; Operates ethically and according to company policies; Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills; Must be able to follow written work instructions and understand mathematical equations that apply to the field; And has: Good employment record in roles requiring strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to quality; Good mechanical aptitude and experience with blueprint reading, measurement equipment, and operation controls; Consistent and comprehensive record-keeping skills; Advanced safety and EPA training; 2-year technical degree with strong chemistry or environmental focus or equivalent experience. Essential Job Responsibilities Processes heavy metals, spent chemicals, and wastewater generated from the production process; Monitors waste treatment operations using gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure treatment machines and processes are working properly; Troubleshoots processing issues to determine cause and resolution; Ensures and documents compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations with continual, consistent, and comprehensive recordkeeping; Ensures compliance with EPA and other relevant regulations; Assists Manager with audit responses, required reporting, and issue resolution as requested; Completes required documentation per ISO processes and completes audit logs to ensure strong communication between shifts.
