Onsite Position Summary:
- To perform any process duties associated with indirectly supporting the production of all vaccines.
- Will work within tank and central services department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of equipment that supports vaccine manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the vaccine production schedules by following a Tank and Central Services scheduling board.
- Perform steam in place equipment(SIP) and clean in place of mobile process equipment (CIP).
- Prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving.
- Perform decontamination of garments, equipment & roller bottles by autoclaving
- Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.
- Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
- Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
- Assessment of individual performance in regards to the continuous improvement (AAI)
- Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)
Qualification & Experience:
- Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing
- Results oriented and ability to meet firm deadlines while working in a complex and variable environment
- Basic math skills, equipment/process trouble shooting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred laboratory experience and manufacturing experience.
