Council Bluffs, IA Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description The Chemical Operator will work with chemical materials and a highly technical foam production machine. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to learn technical processes quickly, and the confidence to work independently. The operator will be responsible for accurately transferring materials, managing tank capacities, and supporting production before and after each pour.
Responsibilities:
Transfer liquids between drums, totes, tanks, and other containers safely and accurately Monitor material quantities and calculate tank capacity to ensure proper fill levels Support chemical and foam production processes, including preparation before and after each pour Learn machine operation, film application, and changeover procedures as production responsibilities expand
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience working in a chemical environment Experience transferring liquids between containers, such as drums, totes, and tanks Experience working around railcars Positive attitude and ability to work well with others, including helping train less-experienced team members
