This Component Processing Technicians opportunity is responsible for cryo processing, a part of blood product manufacturing. It may include handling of blood products, quarantine and/or discarding products, working with biohazardous/chemical waste. This position may also prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories. No experience? No problem! We provide an extensive on-the-job paid-training program. This is a Part Time (20+) position working a varied schedule as dicated by operational need. This position requires the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends. High School Diploma or equivalencies Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred Ability to read and follow set Standard Operating Procedures Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required What does this change mean for you?
