Overview Join our dynamic team as a
CDL A OTR
(Over the Road) Dry Van driver, operating 53-foot trailers to deliver freight efficiently and safely across multiple states. This role offers the opportunity to engage in long-haul routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a vital part of our logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting freight using refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment, maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety on every trip. We are committed to supporting our drivers with consistent routes, guaranteed weekly pay, and a focus on work-life balance. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on OTR routes, covering extensive distances with precision and care. Manage the loading and unloading process, including manual handling of freight and cargo securing. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for efficiency. Transport various types of freight such as refrigerated goods, hazardous materials (Hazmat), or specialty cargo like automobile transportation or dangerous goods. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during every trip. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving. Proven experience driving tractor-trailers over long distances on OTR routes, including route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods handling. Ability to manually handle cargo safely and efficiently during load & unload operations. Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution. Experience with truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling is highly desirable.
