Process Technician a. Who we are i. Brigitflex is a small, women-owned manufacturer specializing in printed circuit boards (PCBs) for low-volume, high-complexity applications. We provide tailored solutions ranging from cost-effective designs to intricate, high-performance circuits. Our customers span a variety of industries, with a strong focus on defense and aerospace sectors. b. Position Scope i. As a Process Technician, you will play an important role in the fabrication of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This position involves hands-on operation of equipment and materials used in the manufacturing process. You will receive on the job training in several core processes, beginning with photolithography, which includes: 1.

Surface Preparation:

Cleaning and preparing circuit board laminates for dry film lamination. 2.

Dry Film Lamination and Imaging:

Operating lamination equipment and using high-intensity light units to transfer circuit artwork onto the PCB surface. 3.

Chemical Processing:

Learning and executing the development, etching and stripping processes to define and clean circuit traces. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors, with an emphasis on precision, cleanliness, and safety. c. Key Responsibilities i. Clean and prepare circuit board laminates for dry film lamination. ii. Operate dry film lamination machines to apply photoresist layers. iii. Use high-intensity exposure units to image circuit patterns accurately. iv. Carry out development processes. v. Carry out etching processes. vi. Carry out stripping processes. vii. Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise viii. Maintain a clean and safe work environment ix. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines d. Preferred Skills i. Experience in PCB manufacturing ii. Chemical handling knowledge iii. Experience is process documentation(travelers) iv. Flexibility and willingness to cross train e. Required Skills i. Comfort with working with hands and being on your feet for the length of shift ii. The ability to lift 50 pounds iii. Comfort with multitasking iv. Able to work with minimal supervision and stay on task v. Ability to interpret technical drawings vi. Detail oriented vii. Dependable viii. Strong communication skills f. Pay Range i. $18-$20/hr ii.
