FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. This position is for 2nd shift with hours from 3 pm - 11:30 pm.Your Responsibilities:
The South Plant Production Operator performs all essential duties with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. Some of the key functions include but are not limited to: Performs work in accordance with the production schedule provided by inventory planning. Informs supervisors of any significant problems, issues or concerns. Completes production records and inventory transactions. Updates process documentation (batch sheets) as work processes are completed. Updates raw material inventory using computer software (SAP). Follows established production procedures and instructions. Follows quality and safety standards. Meets production deadlines. Cleans, secures, and maintains work areas. Performs shipping and receiving functions in the South Plant Qualifications we are looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Technician experience is required. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience Fork Truck Certification desired HAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc) or experience desirable, but not required Must be able to read and performs manufacturing work instructions. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills Maintains a strongattention to detail and accuracy when performingall aspects of the job Solid troubleshootingand decision-making skills Ability to perform basiccomputer functions Strong mechanical ability Team work skills Computer skills suchas SAP knowledge and Microsoft Office a plus These are your benefits: FUCHS offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
