Schedule:
2nd Shift Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line Perform cleanings during set down times and product changeovers Load/unload stacks and moves items as assigned Sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units Mark or place identifying labels on product loads, ensuring that all finished product is coded properly Record movement of stock in and out of work areas Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties Monitor materials, products and equipment at each step of the process and reports irregularities to supervisor Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes Follow Good Manufacturing Practices Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately Other duties assigned or required 1 year experience
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed moving mechanical parts and forklifts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet / humid / cold conditions (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment may be loud. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and sit.
