Production - Coating Line Operator Assistant ProEdge, Inc. is an ISO certified manufacturing company located in Shelby, IN located at the south end of Lake County in Northwest, IN. We manufacture decorative finishes for the furniture industry and other related industries. We are currently hiring in our production department for a Coating Line Operator Assistant. The position is Full Time with Benefits and provides Opportunity for Advancement. The listed pay rate is for entry level. We are looking for someone we can advance into our lead production operator position.

Measures and maintains accurate records of viscosity, temperature, and weights Operates Mixers and Pumps Inspects web for defects Wash, Clean and Flush Cylinders, Print Stations, and Pumps Change and Maintain Print Cylinders Operates Forklift and other Material Handling Equipment Label and move hazardous wastes Assists Coater Operator Requirements for this position are: High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid driver's license Excellent color vision Basic math skills Mechanical Aptitude Heavy Lifting - Must be capable of lifting 120 lbs (team lift 240 lbs) Availability to work alternate shifts and weekends when needed
