LV2 ITAD Operator

ITAD Operators are responsible for the identification, sorting, reconciliation, and de-manufacturing of IT assets in alignment with Sprout's operational and environmental standards. With increasing responsibilities and technical proficiency, ITAD Operators advance through Levels 1 to 4 based on experience and demonstrated skills.

Responsibilities:

Product Identification:

Recognize and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.

Material Handling:

Safely transport materials across the site.

Organizing Stock:

Keep workstations and stock areas organized.

De-Manufacturing:

Disassemble IT assets into constituent parts for recycling or disposal. Adherence to Operational Procedures.

Safety and Security Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001). Mastery of product identification, capable of sorting items correctly, and placing into dedicated locations. Mastery of de-manufacturing process. Proficient in the use of all tools common to ITAD processing.

Qualifications:

Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding the English language. Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute. Proficient in basic arithmetic. Experience with hand tools (power drill, pliers, etc.) Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, when needed. Adaptability to changing tasks and expectations. Experience with basic IT asset handling and de-manufacturing. Proven ability to work as a team to meet objectives.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift. Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Education or Certification:

High School Diploma or GED required.
