Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Battery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly in the field of battery systems. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining various battery technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Battery Technician will work closely with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on battery systems and associated equipment. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and diagnose issues. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Conduct field service operations, including installation, testing, and repair of battery systems at customer locations. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve operational efficiency. Provide technical support for low voltage systems related to battery operations. Stay updated on advancements in battery technology and best practices for maintenance. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a related field with mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with computer networking principles as they relate to battery management systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driver's license may be required for field service responsibilities.
