In this role, you will be responsible for operating equipment and semi-automatic systems to process chemicals into specified products in a cGMP certified area. Key Responsibilities:
Build production batches in a cGMP area, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Accurately read, fill out, and maintain all batch documentation. Load and offload chemicals, operate pumps and filters, and monitor temperature and run speeds. Conduct in-process testing and maintain a safe, organized work area. Interact with QC lab and R&D teams, troubleshoot basic equipment, and implement corrective actions to eliminate operating errors. Train other employees in the production area and maintain CHT standards for quality, safety, and environmental objectives. Support customer service and production planning as necessary, while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chemical operator or in a related field. Certified to drive a forklift (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days). Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Applications. Familiarity with ERP solutions (SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, etc.) is a plus. bility to work independently and manage day-to-day tasks effectively. Knowledge of OSHA's PSM standards and handling hazardous materials.
