Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares racks of glass units for loading into autoclave as indicated on production schedules and instructions. 2. Balances and ties down rack load, as necessary. 3. Operates overhead crane and helps manipulate rack loading into autoclave and for unloading after processing. 4. Close autoclave and starts operating cycle in accordance with established procedures. 5. Monitors pressure and temperature settings during operating cycle. 6. Maintains a Specials Boilers License. 7. Conducts chemical tests daily such as water hardness, chemical content, and scale content. 8. Performs duties in a safe manner using all approved safety equipment as instructed. 9. Performs duties in accordance with the Business Process Documentation. 10. Participates in Viracon's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.

1. Maintains records and logs of department activities. 2. Keeps work area clean and orderly to facilitate production and minimize safely hazards. 3. Maintains an effective working relationship with all department employees. 4. Maintains a neat and orderly working area at the end of the workday. 5. May perform reasonably similar or related duties as instructed.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred but not required. 2. Forklift License. 3. Boiler License 2A or 2B 4. Ability to read, write and understand work instructions (English). 5. Mathematical skills as related to measurements. 6. Familiar with operating power tools. 7. Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member. 8. Must be able to safely perform essential job functions. 9. Regular full-time attendance. 10. Promotes Viracon in a positive manner and obeys all policies. Additional Qualifications for
