Job Description

A leading chemical manufacturer specializing in fertilizers, nitrogen stabilizers, foliar micronutrients, adjuvants, and other agricultural products is seeking a Chemical Operator to join the team at its Pipestone, MN facility. This position is responsible for fertilizer blending and reaction processes, working with 5,000-7,000 gallon batches in reactors and handling materials such as super sacks, totes, and holding tanks. The Chemical Operator reads SOPs and batch sheets to ensure accurate, consistent production and works closely with the on-site quality lab to maintain product standards. Salary +

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (4x10s); Friday overtime likely during peak season (Oct-Nov)
Responsibilities:
Perform fertilizer blending and reaction processes, working with 5,000-7,000 gallon batches in reactors. Handle materials including super sacks, totes, and holding tanks. Operate a standard sit-down forklift and overhead cranes to move and stage materials. Wear required PPE, including a full-face respirator (fit-tested in-house), Tyvek suit when needed, and steel-toe boots. Read and follow SOPs and batch sheets to ensure accurate blending and processing. Work with the on-site quality lab to confirm product quality and consistency.
Requirements:
Chemical blending experience required; food blending experience acceptable Experience with liquid or powder blending English-speaking preferred; bilingual acceptable Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check Willingness to complete an in-house respirator fit test Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
