ACCI Specialty Materials is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Chemical Operator to join our production team on 2nd Shift at our Harrisonville, Missouri facility. Position Summary The Chemical Operator is responsible for safely manufacturing specialty chemical products by following established production procedures, operating process equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Operate mixers, reactors, pumps, and other production equipment safely and efficiently. Follow batch sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Measure and add raw materials accurately. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed. Perform quality checks and document production data accurately. Load and unload raw materials and finished products. Package, label, and prepare products for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance. Communicate production issues with supervisors and team members. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or chemical production experience is preferred. Forklift experience. Ability to read and follow written instructions and batch documentation. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and work around industrial equipment. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
