Job Description

Icons is a full-service provider of primary packaging, design and supply to color cosmetic, skincare, pharmaceutical and beauty customers. The process technician develops and analyses data for the source of improvement in existing equipment and identifies and focuses on cost efficiency. Maintains standards set in tool and gage department that promotes production flexibility while reducing changeover times for assigned projects. Coordinates technical changes and the development and implementation of continual improvements.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and processes
  • Process mold changes for the machines
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
  • Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Monitor quality control measures to ensure product meets specifications
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a process technician or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
