Rotating days and nights. 2 on / 2 off. 3 on / 3 off. Working every other weekend. Day Shift - 06.00 AM to 06.00 PM (Monday to Friday) & Night Shift - 06.00 PM to 06.00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Job Description:
Receiving chemical shipments (drums, totes, tanks, railcars, or trucks) and verifying paperwork. Loading and unloading chemicals using equipment such as forklifts, pumps, hoses, and transfer systems. Moving and staging chemical materials in the correct storage areas. Preparing shipments and ensuring labels, documentation, and regulations are followed. Tracking inventory and maintaining records of chemical quantities and locations. Inspecting containers for leaks, damage, or improper labeling. Following safety procedures for hazardous materials, including spill response and emergency procedures. Coordinating with drivers, warehouse teams, production operators, and safety personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and operate key production processes within our Care Chemicals Business Unit. Ensure safety through knowledge of ESHA procedures and plant hazard identification. Perform tasks such as drumming/repackaging, bulk material transfers, and general equipment troubleshooting. Operate a forklift and assist with training new operators. Complete and maintain required plant documentation (batch sheets, SOPs, logs, etc.)
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma required; prior chemical experience is a plus. Strong math, computer, and reading comprehension skills. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in varying conditions (hot, cold, wet environments). #
