Etching Operator:

Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition before use. Make up all etching chemicals per routings and manufacturing procedures. Perform chemical change-overs using proper PPE. Inspect substrates for proper photoresist quality prior to etching. Touch up intricate images, holes, and slots using a hand/foot dispenser and microscope. Wet etch substrates using both manual and automated methods. Verify critical dimensions (CDs) on substrates as required using the Nikon microscope system. Tape test or otherwise inspect etched substrates to ensure quality etching. Strip photoresist from substrates and inspect 100% for complete cleanliness. Etching Operator:

High School diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework preferred. Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC. Previous experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment (preferred). Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings. Ability to handle small and fragile substrates. Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good visual acuity (lens correction as required) and the ability to perform inspections under a microscope. Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude. Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR policy.
